    Lita came in with Matt Hardy, and entered the ring, attacking the Undertaker who had cleared out the ring just prior. When Jeff enters next, she returns attacking Undertaker again. Maven eliminated Undertaker, but he back into the ring and eliminated Maven, continuing to beat him outside the ring and backstage. Triple H won the Royal Rumble match, last eliminating Kurt Angle, to face the undisputed WWF champion at WrestleMania XVIII.

    Regal climbs the pole to get the brass knuckles, but they are kicked out of the ring. Edge retrieves them, but Regal produces his own set, knocking out Edge to get the pinfall victory.
  5. The Rock def. Undertaker
    Rock has Undertaker in the sharpshooter when Vince McMahon approaches the ring. Rock knocks out McMahon, but Ric Flair hits Undertaker with a led pipe and Rock is able to pin him after a Rock Bottom.
  6. #1 contender match for WWF championship, Special guest referee: Stephanie McMahon
    Kurt Angle. def. Triple H
    Triple H's shot at the WWF championship that he won at the Royal Rumble was up for grabs. McMahon is knocked out early on and replaced with Tim White. When he is knocked out, McMahon returns but is knocked out again. Triple H hits the pedigree, but there is no-one to count the pinfall. The second time, White is counting when McMahon elbow drops him. Angle hits Triple H with a steel chair and gets the pinfall victory.
  7. Undisputed WWF championship:
    Chris Jericho (ch) def. Stone Cold Steve Austin
    Austin had Jericho in his own Walls of Jericho, but the referee was out outside the ring and did not see it. He then hit the Stone Cold stunner, but was overrun by the nWo (Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall). Jericho capitalizes on the attack and gets a pinfall victory to retain the championship.

    Regal reaches for his brass knucks, but Van Dam kicks them out of his hand. Van Dam pins Regal with the five-star frog splash and wins by pinfall.

    Page pins Christian after the Diamond cutter.
  3. Hardcore championship:
    Goldust vs. Maven (ch)
    Spike Dudley runs in during the Goldust vs. Maven match, pinning Maven to become champion. Action continues backstage, where Hurricane Helms wins the title after pinning Spike Dudley.
  4. Kurt Angle def. Kane
    Kane counters Angles Olympic slam into a chokeslam, which Angle himself counters into a rollup to get a pinfall victory.
  5. No disqualification match:
    Undertaker def. Ric Flair
    Arn Anderson runs in and delivers a spinebuster to Undertaker, but Ric Flair is unable to capitalize. Undertaker hits a tombstone to get the pinfall victory, making it his 10th WrestleMania victory.
  6. Edge def. Booker T
    Edge pins Booker T after the Edgecution.
    After the match Mighty Molly attacks Hurricane Helms backstage, and pins him to win the hardcore championship.
  7. Stone Cold Steve Austin def. Scott Hall [w/Kevin Nash]
    Austin hits Hall with the Stone Cold stunner, but Nash attacks the referee before he can count to three and then goes on to attack Austin. Austin hits Hall with another stunner, a new referee enters but again Nash takes him out. Austin eventually manage to pin Hall after a third stunner.
  8. Tagteam championship, Four corners tag team elimination match:
    Billy & Chuck (ch) def. APA (Farooq & Bradshaw), Dudley Boyz (D-Von & Bubba Ray) [w/Stacy Keibler], Hardy Boyz (Matt & Jeff)
    Order of elimination:
    1. APA (Bradshaw pinned by D-Von Dudley after the 3-D)
    2. Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray pinned by Matt Hardy after the Swanton bomb)
    3. Hardy Boyz (Jeff Hardy pinned by Chuck)
    With the referee distracted, Billy hits Matt in the head with the championship belt to allow Chuck to get a pinfall victory to retain the championship.
    In the backstage area after the match, Christian knocks Mighty Molly out with a door, and becomes hardcore champion.
  9. The Rock def. Hollywood Hulk Hogan
    Hogan was tapping to the Scorpion Deathlock, but the referee was out. Rock gets the pinfall victory after the People's elbow. Hogan is attacked by fellow nWo members Hall and Nash after the match, but he and Rock fight them off together.
  10. Women's championship, Triple threat:
    Jazz (ch) def. Lita, Trish Stratus
    Jazz pins Lita after a fisherman suplex from the turnbuckle, to retain the championship.
    After the match, Christian is leaving the arena backstage, when Maven appears and pins him to become the hardcore champion again.
  11. Undisputed WWF championship:
    Triple H def. Chris Jericho (ch) [w/Stephanie McMahon]
    McMahon tries to interfere, but Triple H delivers a pedigree on her. Afterwards, he manages to hit the pedigree on Jericho to get a pinfall victory and win the championship.

    Kidman sets up Tajiri for a power bomb when he is sprayed in the eyes with red mist, allowing Tajiri to get a pinfall victory to win the championship.
  2. Scott Hall [w/X-Pac] def. Bradshaw
    When X-Pac starts fighting alongside Hall, Bradshaw's former tagteam partner Farooq arrives to ringside. X-Pac distracts Bradshaw, allowing Hall to hit a low blow and get a pinfall victory.
  3. Women's championship:
    Jazz (ch) def. Trish Stratus (subm.)
    Molly Holly comes to the ring before the match, attacking Stratus. Jazz locks Stratus in the STF to get a submission victory and retain the championship.
  4. Brock Lesnar [w/Paul Heyman] def. Jeff Hardy [w/Lita] (referee stoppage)
    The referee stops the match after Lesnar hits Hardy with several powerbombs, awarding Lesnar the victory.
  5. Kurt Angle def. Edge
    Angle counters Edge's spear, hits an Angle slam and gets a pinfall victory.
  6. Intercontinental championship:
    Eddie Guerrero def. Rob Van Dam (ch)
    Guerrero hit a neckbreaker onto the championship belt before hitting a Frog Splash. Guerrero gets a pinfall victory, to become the new intercontinental champion.

    Undertaker def. Stone Cold Steve Austin
    Ric Flair counts a pinfall victory for the Undertaker with Austin's foot on the bottom rope.

    Billy pins Maven after Rico distracts Snow.

  3. X-Pac def. Bradshaw
    Scott Hall comes to ringside, distracting the referee. X-Pac hits a low blow and gets a pinfall victory after the X-Factor.
  4. Hardcore championship:
    Booker T def. Steven Richards (ch)
    Booker T pins Richards after the Book End, to become hardcore champion. Crash Holly runs in with a referee, rolls up Booker and becomes champion. Booker pins Holly to become champion again. Justin Credible and Tommy Dreamer also runs in, but Booker T is successful. Jazz comes in and delivers a low blow, and Steven Richards throws Booker T through a table, to regain the championship.
  5. Hardy Boyz (Jeff & Matt) def. Shawn Stasiak & Brock Lesnar [w/Paul Heyman]
    Heyman had asked Stasiak to just stand on the apron, but instead he runs into the ring, starting the match on his own. Jeff pins Stasiak after a Swanton bomb.
  6. European championship:
    Spike Dudley (ch) def. William Regal
    Dudley apparently lands bad on his ankle, Regal attacks him being led out of the ring but Dudley manage to roll him up using an inside cradle to retain the championship.
  7. Stone Cold Steve Austin def. Big Show
    Flair comes out to the ring in a referee shirt, wanting to redeem himself after counting a bad pinfall on Austin at Backlash, making himself a second referee. Austin hits the stunner on Big Show, but the referee is down and Flair is busy running Scott Hall and X-Pac out from the ring. Nash comes in, but is stunned by Austin. After three stunners on Big Show, Austin eventually gets a pinfall victory.
  8. Triple H def. Undertaker
    Triple H gets a pinfall victory after the pedigree.

    Guerrero performs a backslide and gets a pinfall with his rings on the ropes for leverage.

    D-Von Dudley and "Deacon" Batista comes out, with Batista bodyslamming Stratus, but she manages to kick out of a pinfall. Keibler misses a punch, allowing Stratus to perform the stratusfaction and get a pinfall victory.
  3. Brock Lesnar & Paul Heyman def. Hardy Boyz (Matt & Jeff)
    Heyman pinned Jeff Hardy after Lesnar took him out.
  4. Handicap match:
    Stone Cold Steve Austin def. Big Show & Ric Flair
    X-Pac comes to the ring, but is stunned by Austin. Austin then stuns Flair and gets a pinfall victory.
  5. Hair vs. Hair match:
    Edge def. Kurt Angle
    Angle has Edge in the ankle lock, but Edge manages to kick out, roll up Angle and get a pinfall victory. Angle runs away before Edge is able to shave his head bald, but is eventually caught and Edge shaves his head just before the main event.
  6. Hell in a cell match:
    Triple H def. Chris Jericho
    Triple H tries to bin Chris Jericho, but the referee has been knocked out. They eventually make it to the top of the cell, where Triple H pedigrees Jericho and gets a pinfall victory.
  7. Tagteam championship:
    Rikishi & Rico def. Billy & Chuck (ch)
    Rico came to the ring as Billy & Chuck's stylist, but was appointed Rikishi's partner by Mr. McMahon. Rico is tagged in, and tries to help his team, but instead hits Chuck, allowing Rikishi to pin him.
  8. Undisputed WWE championship:
    Undertaker def. Hulk Hogan (ch)
    Hogan sets up Undertaker for the pinfall, but Mr. McMahon comes to the ring, distracting the referee. Hogan legdrops McMahon, but Undertaker attacks Hogan with a steel chair and gets the pinfall after a chokeslam, to become the new undisputed champion.

    Spike drives Guerrero through a table, scoring the first elimination. Shortly after, Benoit throws Spike over the top-rope, through a table, eliminating him. As he sets up Bubba Ray for a German suplex through a table, Bubba Ray reverses it into a Bubba bomb, scoring the victory.
  2. Cruiserweight championship:
    Jamie Noble (ch) [w/Nidia] def. Billy Kidman
    Noble pins Kidman after a powerbomb, to retain the championship.
  3. European championship:
    Jeff Hardy (ch) def. William Regal
    Hardy counters Regal's arm drag, rolls him up and gets a pinfall victory to retain the championship.

    Cena counters the Walls of Jericho into a roll-up, getting a pinfall victory.

    Angle performs an Angle slam on the Undertaker, but before he can pin him, The Rock hits the Rock Bottom on Angle. The Rock then goes on to pin Kurt Angle to win the championship.

A tournament was set up to crown WWE tagteam champions, as the World tagteam champions had become exclusive to Raw, with the finals taking place at No Mercy.

    Henry taps to Eddie's leglock after Chavo hits Henry's legs with a steel chair.
  2. Farooq & Reverend D-Von Dudley def. Billy & Chuck
    D-Von pins Chuck after Farooq applies the Dominator. Farooq substituted for Batista.
  3. SmackDown 2002-10-10:
    Kurt Angle & Chris Benoit def. John Cena & Billy Kidman (subm.)
    Kidman taps to the crippler cross-face.
  4. Rey Mysterio & Edge def. Brock Lesnar (WWE ch) & Tajiri [w/Paul Heyman]

    Wilson pins Marie after a swinging neckbreaker.

    Van Dam pins Flair after a five-star frog splash.
  4. Cruiserweight championship:
    Jamie Noble (ch) [w/Nidia] def. Tajiri
    Tajiri rolls up Noble after a slingshot, but Nidia distracts the referee long enough for Noble to come back. Noble pins Tajiri after Nidia block Tajiri from performing a victory roll.
  5. World & Intercontinental championship unification match:
    Triple H (World champion) def. Kane (IC champion)
    Ric Flair tries to attack Kane with the sledgehammer, but Kane stops him, grabbing the sledgehammer. Flair comes back, pulling the referee as Kane has Triple H down for a pin. Triple H hits a pedigree to get a pinfall and win the unified World championship.
  6. WWE tagteam championship, tournament final:
    Chris Benoit & Kurt Angle def. Mysterio & Edge (subm.)
    Angle reverses the Edgecution into an ankle lock, Edge reverses it, but Angle reverses it again and wins the match when Edge taps out.
  7. Women's championship:
    Trish Stratus (ch) def. Victoria
    Stratus misses the Stratusfaction, but rolls up Victoria for a pinfall victory anyway.
  8. WWE championship, Hell in the Cell:
    Brock Lesnar (ch) [w/Paul Heyman] def. Undertaker
    Lesnar counters Undertaker's tombstone into an F-5 and gets a pinfall victory.

    Booker T counters the Twist of Fate with a scissor kick, to get the pinfall victory.
  2. Mixed tagteam match:
    Billy Kidman & Torrie Wilson def. John Cena & Dawn Marie
    Kidman pinned Cena after a shooting star press.
  3. Funaki def. Crash
    Funaki misses the enziguri, and Crash tries to roll him over, but ends up with his shoulders down and Funaki gets the pinfall victory.
  4. Cruiserweight championship, Three-way elimination match:
    Jamie Noble [w/Nidia] def. Tajiri, Rey Mysterio
    Noble first eliminated Tajiri with a pinfall after a Tiger bomb. With help from Nidia, he also pins Mysterio, to retain the championship.
  5. D-Von & Ron Simmons def. Big Valbowski & Chuck Palumbo
    D-Von pins Chuck after Simmons lands a punch from outside the ring.
  6. Kiss my ass match:
    Rikishi def. Albert
    Rikishi pins Albert after a Bonzai drop.
  7. WWE tagteam championship:
    Kurt Angle & Chris Benoit (ch) def. Eddie & Chavo Guerrero
    Guerrero stops Eddie from going to the top rope, allowing Angle to get the pinfall after the Angle slam.
  8. WWE championship, handicap match:
    Brock Lesnar (ch) & Paul Heyman def. Edge
    Stipulation: If Edge pins Paul Heyman, he wins the championship. Edge misses a cross-body, hitting the referee. Edge covers Lesnar for a pinfall after the Edgecution, but the referee is out. Lesnar attacks Edge with a steel chair and hits a F-5 to get the pinfall victory.

    With the referee, out Heyman tosses a steel chair into the ring. A new referee appears, but is attacked by Heyman. Big Show chokeslams Lesnar on the steel chair and gets a pinfall victory. He celebrates with Heyman after the match.
  5. WWE tagteam championship, triple threat match:
    Los Guerreros (Eddie & Chavo Guerrero) def. Kurt Angle & Chris Benoit, Edge & Rey Mysterio (ch) (subm.)
    Edge pinned Benoit after a spear to eliminate the team of Kurt Angle & Chris Benoit. Rey Mysterio submitted to Eddie Guerrero's Lasso from El Passo, to give Los Guerreros the win.
  6. World heavyweight championship, Elimination chamber match:
    Shawn Michaels def. Triple H (ch), Kane, Rob Van Dam, Booker T, Chris Jericho
    Triple H and Rob Van Dam started out, with the rest locked up in individual chambers. Chris Jericho entered third, Booker T fourth. Van Dam goes for a five star frog splash on Triple H from the top of a pod, but hurts his knee and is pinned by Booker T after a missile dropkick. Kane entered fifth. The second elimination is Booker T, who is pinned by Chris Jericho after the lionsault. Shawn Michaels entered last. Kane is the third to be eliminated by Chris Jericho after another lionsault. Chris Jericho is the fourth to be eliminated, when Michaels pins him after the sweet chin music, leaving Triple H and Shawn Michaels as the final two. Shawn Michaels last eliminates Triple H after the sweet chin music, to become the new champion.

Armageddon 2002

    A-Train hits a steel chair on Edge's knee, getting himself disqualified.
  3. Chris Benoit def. Eddie Guerrero (WWE tagteam ch) (subm.)
    Eddie's tagteam partner Chavo attacked Benoit with the championship belt outside the ring, but Benoit comes back. Eddie taps out to the crippler cross-face.
  4. Batista [w/Ric Flair] def. Kane
    Batista pins Kane after a sit-down powerbomb after Kane is distracted by Ric Flair.
  5. Women's championship, Triple threat match: Victoria (ch) def. Trish Stratus, Jackie
    Stratus runs Jackie into the corner to set up a pinfall, but Victoria his her with the championship belt and steals the pin, to retain the championship.
  6. WWE championship: Kurt Angle def. Big Show (ch) [w/Paul Heyman]
    With the referee out, Brock Lesnar appears, hitting the F-5 on Big Show, allowing Angle to get the pinfall victory and become the new champion.
  7. World heavyweight championship, three stages of hell match:
    1. 1st fall: Street fight:
      Triple H def. Shawn Michaels (ch)
      Triple H pins Michaels after a pedigree.
    2. 2nd fall: Steel cage match:
      Shawn Michaels def. Triple H
      Michaels pins Triple H after jumping him from the top of the cage onto a table.
    3. 3rd fall: Ladder match:
      Triple H def. Shawn Michaels
      Michaels climbs the ladder, but Triple H drops him through a couple of tables outside the ring. Triple H then climbs the ladder to win the fall, the match and the World heavyweight championship.
