    Rosa pins Hirsch to advance to the second round.
  2. AEW Dynamite 2021-02-17: Riho def. Serena Deeb (NWA ch)
    Riho pins Deeb after a series of roll-ups.
  3. First round 2021-02-22: Nyla Rose def. Tay Conti
    Rose pins Conti after the Beast Bomb.

    Madi Wrenkowski replaced the injured Anna Jay. Baker pins Wrenkowski after the lockjaw.

    Sakazaki pins Suruga after a 450 "Magical Girl" splash from the top rope.

    Itoh taps out to Mizunami's head and arm triangle.

    Kadokura does a good job of disabling the bigger Kong, but eventually Kong hits a diving elbow from the ring ropes to get the pinfall victory.

    Sakazaki pins Sakura after a crucifix.

    Mizunami performs a legdrop on Kong on the ring apron, causing Kong to be counted out.
  3. AEW Dynamite 2021-02-24: Nyla Rose def. Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D [w/Rebel]
    Baker tries to land a superkick, but is caught by Rose, who hits the Beast Bomb to get the pinfall victory.
  4. YouTube 2021-02-28: Thunder Rosa def. Riho
    Rosa counters Riho's clothesline into a cradle, getting the pinfall victory.

    One tag team entered every 90 seconds, but wrestlers were eliminated individually, with the last man standing earning a title shot for his team. Dark Order entered with three different teams. Final four was Death Triangle (Pac and Rey Fénix), Jungle Boy of Jurassic Express and John Silver of Dark Order. Fénix eliminates Silver, leaving Death Triangle two-on-one on Jungle Boy. Jungle Boy uses his quickness to avoid Pac's running assault, leaving him and Fénix in the ring. Fénix hits a clothesline to eliminate Jungle Boy to win the match for his team.
  3. AEW Women's championship:
    Hikaru Shida (ch) def. Ryo Mizunami
    Shida retains the championship after a knee strike.
  4. Miro & Kip Sabian [w/Penelope Ford] def. Best Friends (Orange Cassidy & Chuck Taylor) (subm.)
    Miro and Sabian beat up Cassidy back stage and drag Taylor out to the ring and the match starts as a two-on-one. Cassidy makes it back to the ring and mount a good offence. Taylor submits to Miro's camel clutch.
  5. Big Money Match:
    "Hangman" Adam Page def. Matt Hardy
    Stipulation: If Page wins, he receives all of Hardy's Q1 earnings. Page hits the Deadeye on Hardy, but the referee is distracted by Private Party, who comes to ringside helping Hardy. Dark Order comes to ringside taking out Private Party and allowing Page to hit the buckshot lariat and get the pinfall.
  6. Face of the Revolution Ladder Match:
    Scorpio Sky def. Cody Rhodes [w/Arn Anderson], Penta El Zero Miedo, Lance Archer [w/Jake Roberts], Max Caster, Ethan Page
    The first to climb the ladder and grab the brass ring hanging above wins a TNT championship match. Sky and Rhodes are at the top of a ladder. Sky knocks Rhodes off the ladder and unhooks the ring to win the match.
  7. Street Fight:
    Darby Allin & Sting def. Team Taz (Brian Cage & Ricky Starks)
    The match was taped earlier from an undisclosed location. Sting eventually hits the Scorpion Death Drop on Starks to get the pinfall victory.
  8. AEW World championship, Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch:
    Kenny Omega (ch) [w/Don Callis] def. Jon Moxley
    Omega gets assistance by the Good Brothers and hit Moxley with a baseball bat covered in barbed wire. He then hits the One Winged Angel onto a steel chair to get the pinfall.

Double or Nothing

  1. "Hangman" Adam Page def. Brian Cage
    Cage attempts Page's buckshot lariat, but is caught by Page. Cage keeps dominating Page, getting several two-counts. Rick Starks come ringside, throwing the FTW championship belt into the ring for Cage to use, but Cage throws it out. Page uses the confusion to hit the buckshoot lariat to get the pinfall victory.
  2. AEW tagteam championship:
    The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) (ch) [w/Don Callis] def. Jon Moxley & Eddie Kingston
    Good Brothers comes to ring-side, distracting Moxley and Kingston, allowing Bucks to spray Moxley in the face with cooling spray. Moxley takes a Meltzer driver on the entrance ramp, but the Bucks are unable to capitalize. The match goes back and forth, until the Bucks hits four consecutive BTE triggers on Moxley, allowing Matt to get the pinfall victory.

    Agogo almost gets the pinfall on Rhodes, but Rhodes has his arm underneath the ring rope, blocking the count. Rhodes hits a reverse back drop to get the pinfall victory.
  5. TNT championship:
    Miro (ch) def. Lance Archer (subm.)
    Archer escapes the Cobra clutch, but Miro reverses it into a bow and arrow, forcing Archer to submit.
  6. AEW Women's championship:
    Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D [w/Rebel] def. Hikaru Shida (ch) (subm.)
    Rebel distracts Shida, grabbing the championship belt. She then tries to hit Shida with her crutch, but inadvertently hits Baker instead. As the referee tries to eject Rebel from ringside, Baker attacks Shida with the championship belt but is unable to get the pinfall. Baker applies the lock jaw, forcing Shida to submit.
  7. Sting & Darby Allin def. Ethan Page & Scorpio Sky
    Sting pins Sky after the Scorpion Death Drop.
  8. AEW World championship, Three-Way Match:
    Kenny Omega (ch) [w/Don Callis] def. Orange Cassidy, Pac
    Kenny Omega was also AAA Mega champion and Impact Wrestling champion at the same, and as in possession of the old TNA championship belt. Cassidy hits a punch on Pac and has him down for the pinfall, but is yanked out from the ring by Callis. Pac then locks Cassidy in a face lock, but Omega knocks out the referee before Cassidy submits. Omega hits Pac with all his championship belts, but receives an Orange Punch from Cassidy. Another referee runs in, counting Cassidy's pinfall, but Omega manages to reverse it and get a pinfall victory over Cassidy instead.
  9. Stadium Stampede:
    Inner Circle (Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevara & Santana & Ortiz & Jake Hager) def. The Pinnacle (MJF & Sean Spears & Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood & Wardlow) [w/Tully Blanchard]
    A ring was set up at the 50-yard line of the American football field at the adjacent TIAA Bank Field, with the two teams starting from each side. Pinfalls count anywhere. The "match" went on around the entire arena complex, until Guevara runs Spears head into a steel chair and hits a 630 senton to get a pinfall victory inside the ring in the main arena.

All Out

2021-09-05, Now Arena, Chicago, Illinois, USA

  1. TNT championship:
    Miro (ch) def. Eddie Kingston
    Miro puts Kingston in the cobra clutch, but Kingston reaches the ring ropes, forcing Miro to release the hold. Kingston manages to hit a DDT, but only gets a two-count. Kingston tries to run Miro into an exposed turnbuckle, but the referee blocks him. Miro hits a back mule kick low blow that the referee does not see, allowing him to get the pinfall victory to retain the championship.
  2. Jon Moxley def. Satoshi Kojima
    Moxley counters Kojima's lariat into the Paradigm shift. He hits second Paradigm shift to get the pinfall victory.
  3. AEW Women's championship:
    Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D (ch) [w/Rebel & Jamie Hayter] def. Kris Statlander [w/Orange Cassidy] (subm.)
    Baker goes for the lock jaw, but Statlander blocks her, hits the scissors kick but only gets a two-count. She eventually manages to lock the lockjaw to win the match by submission.
  4. Steel cage match, AEW tagteam championship:
    The Lucha Bros (Penta El Zero Miedo & Rey Fénix) [w/Alex Abrahantes] def. The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) (ch) [w/Brandon Cutler]
    Brandon Cutler throws a shoe with the sole covered in thumb tacks into the ring, allowing Matt to superkick Penta with it, and then Nick pushes Penta's head into the shoe. After taking out Fénix, they hit the BTE trigger, but Fénix just makes it back in time to allow Penta to kick out. Fénix grabs the show, attacks both Bucks and almost gets the pinfall. The teams keep fighting, exchanging superkicks and others, Fénix climbs to the top of the ring jumping the Bucks, then the Lucha Bros double-team Matt to allow Penta to get the pinfall victory.

    Chris Jericho def. MJF (subm.)
    Stipulation: If MJF wins, Jericho will never wrestle in AEW again. Wardlow tries to make it to the ring, but is taken out by Jake Hager. With the referee distracted, MJF attacks Jericho with Jericho's baseball bat. MJF has him down for a pinfall, which is counted despite Jericho getting his foot on the rope. The match is restarted, and Jericho almost gets a quick roll-up oinfall. Jericho applies the Walls of Jericho, and MJF has no choice but to tap out.
  7. CM Punk def. Darby Allin [w/Sting]
    Allin goes for the coffin drop on Punk, but Punk just sits up, causing Allin to miss. Punk tries for the Go To Sleep, but Allin counters. Punk tries again, hits the GTS and gets the pinfall victory.
  8. Paul Wight def. QT Marshall [w/The Factory (Aaron Solow & Nick Comoroto)]
    Wight wins a fairly one-sided match with a pinfall after a chokeslam.
  9. AEW World championship:
    Kenny Omega (ch) [w/Don Callis] def. Christian Cage
    Cage was Impact world champion at the time, having won that title from Omega a few weeks earlier. Good Brothers come running in as Callis distracts the referee. Christian fights them off, hits the Kill Switch on Omega but is only able to get a two-count. He tries for a Kill Switch from the top rope, but Omega reverses it into an Avalanche One-Winged Angel, to get the pinfall victory.

2021-10-22 to 2021-11-13

The winner of the tournament gets a title shot.

First round:

  1. AEW Rampage 2021-10-22: Orange Cassidy [w/Chuck Taylor] def. Powerhouse Hobbs [w/Hook]
    Hobbs crushes Cassidy into the corner and takes out his frustration on the referee. Cassidy uses the confusion to lock up Hobbs to get the pinfall.
  2. AEW Dynamite 2021-10-23: Bryan Danielson def. Dustin Rhodes (subm.)
    Danielson locks the guilloitine, moving into the body scissors, forcing the referee to end the match.
  3. Eddie Kingston def. Lance Archer
    Archer misses a moonsault from the top turnbuckle and rolls out. The ring-side doctor allows him to continue, but Kingston quickly rolls him up to advance.
  4. AEW Dynamite 2021-10-27: Jon Moxley def. Dark Order's 10
    Moxley quickly crushes #10, hitting the Paradigm Shift to get the pinfall victory.

Semi-finals:

  1. AEW Rampage 2021-10-29: Bryan Danielson def. Eddie Kingston (subm.)
    Danielson locks a triangle sleeper on Kingston. Kingston tries to power out, but Danielson keeps chopping at Kingston until he faints, forcing the referee to call the match.
  2. AEW Dynamite 2021-11-03: Miro def. Orange Cassidy [w/Chuck Taylor & Wheeler Yuta & Kris Statlander] (subm.)
    Miro replaced Moxley, who had to withdraw to enter a rehabilitation program for alcohol addiction. Miro locks Cassidy in the cobra clutch to get the submission victory.

    MJF hits Allin with the Diamond Diamond ring, allowing him to get the oinfa
  2. AEW tagteam championship:
    Lucha Brothers (Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fénix) (ch) [w/Alex Abrahantes] def. FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) [w/Tully Blanchard]
    FTR were AAA tagteam champions at the same time. FTR has several pinning attempts that end in a two-count. FTR attempts an illegal switch, with Wheeler donning a mask and playing knocked out, but Lucha Brothers spike him, allowing Penta to get the pinfall to retain the championships.
  3. AEW world title eliminator tournament final:
    "American Dragon" Bryan Danielson def. Miro
    Danielson locks Miro in a triangle sleeper but fails to captilize. Miro takes him to the top rope, but Danielson manages to hit a DDT off the ropes, knocking him out and giving Danielson the victory, becoming the number one contender for the AEW World championship.
  4. Falls count anywhere:
    Christian Cage & Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus) def. Young Bucks (Nick & Matt Jackson) [w/Brandon Cutler & Michael Nakazawa] & Adam Cole
    The Superkliq hits a three-way BTE trigger with thumbtack knee pads on Luchasaurus, but fail to get the pinfall victory when Jungle Boy breaks it. Jungle Boy hits the con-chair-to on Matt Jackson on the rampway, allowing him to get the pinfall victory for his team.
  5. Pac & Cody Rhodes [w/Arn Anderson] def. Andrade El Ídolo [w/José the assistant] & Malakai Black
    Pac hits the Black Arrow on Andrade to get the pinfall victory.
  6. AEW Women's championship:
    Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. (ch) [w/Rebel & Jamie Hayter] def. Tay Conti
    Baker goes for the lockjaw, but Conti hits a stunner. Baker's entourage distract her, allowing Baker to hit the Air-Raid Crash on the ring apron, only getting a two-count. She transitions into the lockjaw, but is too close to the ropes and have to break it up. Eventually Conti tries to go for the Hammerlock DDT, but Baker rolls her up for the pinfall to retain.
  7. CM Punk def. Eddie Kingston
    Kingston takes a shot at Punk before the match, which turns out to be a real grudge match. Punk pounds away on Kingston, getting a pinfall after the Go to Sleep.
  8. Minneapolis street fight:
    The Inner Circle (Chris Jericho & Jake Hager & Sammy Guevara & Santana & Ortiz) def. Men of the Year (Ethan Page & Scorpio Sky) & American Top Team (Junior dos Santos & Andrei Arlovski & Dan Lambert)
  9. AEW World championship:
    "Hangman" Adam Page def. Kenny Omega (ch) [w/Don Callis]
    Page goes for the buckshot lariat, but Omega throws himself out of the way, causing Page to hit the referee instead. Callis runs in with the championship belt, but Page takes him out. Omega runs for the belt, but Page hits him with the Dead-Eye. The referee is out, so another one runs in but only gets to count to two. The two men exchange blows, until Page escapes Omega's One-Winged Angel to hit one of his own. He only gets the two-count, but manages to hit the Buckshot lariat twice to get the pinfall.
