November to Remember 1999

1999-11-07, Burt Flickenger Center, Buffalo, New York, USA

Watch on WWE Network.

Hosted by: Joey Styles and Cyrus "The Virus".

Show opened up with Joey Styles in the ring with Cyrus talking about how the PPV will be tonight. Cyrus popped off as usual and then out came Joel Gertner. He came out saying his usual rhymes and lines and talks about how he should be co-hosting tonight's PPV like he does with TNN. The "The Human Suplex Machine" Taz came out in a pissed mood. Taz said Joey would not return any of his calls nor talk to him. Joey insisted that he was no avoiding him and then Taz started really getting in his face. Taz told Joey to leave the ring before he did anything drastic, and so Joey did. Gertner was laughing and then Taz got in Gartner's face and told him to leave the ring also. Joel was leaving the ring until Taz put on the Tazmission for a few seconds. After that, Taz said somethings to RVD and Cyrus and Taz thanked each other and the show cut to promos.

  1. Spike Dudley def. Simon Diamond [w/Dick]
Simon came out with "Dick" and started popping off on the Microphone. Jazz came out and said she was irritated cause Simon always had a problem in every city they were in and then slapped him. She was working on Simon pretty good and even gave him the X-Factor until Dick grabbed her and put her down with the "Penile Implant" (I think that's what they said) Then Spike Dudleys music hit and out came Spike, Spike quickly hit Dick with the Acid Drop and then started beating on Simon busting him open, it quickly ended after he gave Simon the Acid Drop for the pinfall.
  2. Little Guido [w/Big Sal] E. Graziano def. Nova
The match quickly followed the first match after the "New FBI" came out and started beating on Spike, kicking him. Nova ran out to the aid of Spike Dudley. Both men execute some awesome maneuvers including a spectacular top rope Samoan slam by Nova. However, Guido comes out on top with the Kamikaze and an easy pinfall. After the match, Chris Chetti came out to save Nova from further beatings, yet was taken out once Danny Doring and Roadkill made their way down the ring.
  3. Three-Way Dance: Yoshihiro Tajiri [w/Steve Corino (with Blonde Hair)] & Jack Victory def. Super Crazy, "The New F'N Show" Jerry Lynn
This was a great match as Tajiri was the first man out, followed by Super Crazy and then Jerry Lynn. Tajiri started the match off strong kicking both competitors and locked on the Tarantula on both men early in the match. A few spectacular high-spots as Tajiri did a nice Asai Moonsault on both men outside of the ring, but that was short compared to Super Crazy's Asai Moonsault off one of the entrance ways onto both men...had to be at least 10 feet if not more. Unfortunately Super Crazy was the first man eliminated following a nice brainbuster and pinfall by Tajiri.
  4. The Baldies (Tony DeVito, Vito "The Skull" LaGrosso, P.N. News & Spanish Angel) def. Axl Rotten & Balls Mahoney
This match started off as a Tornado Match with all the Baldies beating on Axl and Balls, slowly Axl and Balls came back with some hard punches and Balls ended up knocking the crap outta Skull with a chair-shot. As the Baldies were getting themselves back together and into the ring, who else would join the fray, of course it was "The Original Gangsta" New Jack as his music blew through the arena. New Jack came down with his usual toyboy of goodies (smaller than usual, yet effective). New Jack tossed his goodies and got into the ring focusing mostly on Angel whom stapled him in the eye two weeks ago at the ECW Arena show. Great match with much hardcore action installed, some of the things include New Jack clubbing Angel with a gold club bending it, New Jack laying some type of pan over Angels crotch area and taking a Vaccuum to his groin, Chairs being tossed everywhere, Angel getting stapled in the crotch, P.N. News getting a Nintendo do the head and not to mention one of the biggest things of the night, New Jack climbing up to the backball hoop where the N2R Logo was hanged (had to be nearly 15 feet high above the ground) with New Jack diving off of the hoop onto Angel who was placed on the table. Unfortunately the Baldies got the pinfall after nailing New Jack violently in the back of the head with a guitar once brought back in the ring.
  5. Sabu [w/Bill Alfonso] def. Chris Candido [w/Tammy Lynn Sytch]
Sabu came out first. We heard from Bill and Sabu that a friend of Sabu's named Ticcho (I think that's how it was spelled, he had that written on his armband), Bill said that Sabu lost his friend and that Sabu was dedicating not only tonight's match to him, but the entire PPV. Another pretty good match, even though Candido is not much of a worker. It went to the outside quickly, after a few minutes in the ring, a table was set up on the outside, yet is brought in by Alfonso after Candido almost splashed Sabu through it. Candido tries to do some sort of legdrop on Sabu through the table, yet Sabu moves and Candido goes ass first. Match goes for awhile and Sabu springboards into the crowd on Candido. Another table is set up in the ring, Sabu is first placed on it, but Candido eventually gets a big legdrop through it from Sabu after he leans over it to reach for Tammy (whom was in an altercation with Alfonso a few seconds before). Sabu hits the Arabian Facebuster and puts on the Camel Clutch, Candido is forced to submit giving Sabu the win.
  6. ECW Heavyweight Championship Match: Mike Awesome (ch) [w/Judge Jeff Jones] def. Masato Tanaka
This was the first of the main events tonight, and was sure to be a great match as both men work great together. To make a long story short, here are some things that happened during the match. Roaring Elbows on Awesome including a Vandaminator type of Roaring Elbow, Splash by Awesome, a Headfirst Dive to the outside by Awesome, Awesome springboarding into the audience on Tanaka, Chairshots, SITTING Awesome Bomb from the ring apron to a outside table on Tanaka, Suplex by Tanaka Awesome through a table from the Top Rope in the ring. The action eventually ends with Mike Awesome getting the pinfall on Tanaka after a Super Awesome Bomb (from the top rope) to keep his title.
  7. ECW Television Title Match: Rob Van Dam (ch) [w/Bill Alfonso] def. Taz
Alright match, not the type of match to followup with a great match like Awesomes and Tanakas, but what the hell. Taz came out and then RVD whom buggered around with the fans for a little more time. The fight for awhile, RVD Shows off doing a guardrail to guardrail type of move on Taz, yet Taz takes control of the match by clipping RVD's legs, Taz sets up a table in the ring and Tazplex's RVD through it after RVD attempts to deliver a kick on Taz. Taz is busted open with a Vandaminator, thanks to the distraction of Fonzie. RVD hits Taz with a nice Five Star Frogsplash for the pinfall on Taz to retain his TV Title. Hmmm, Taz does a JOB.
  8. Main Event: The Impact Players [w/Jason and Dawn Marie and Rhino] def. Raven, Tommy Dreamer [w/Francine and The Sandman].
Assured to be a good match with Sandman returning to an ECW Wrestling ring as well as PPV. Rhino ties it up with Sandman to begin the contest. Quick tags are made and Dreamer and Storm exchange some offense. Dreamer executes a side Russian leg sweep onto Storm and then attempts to tag in Raven. Raven walks away from the tag and Sandman is tagged in instead. Sandman is caught with a cane to the head and is triple teamed for some time. Raven steals a tag from Dreamer and takes control of the match. Raven attempts a splash onto Storm who was placed on a table on the outside but Lance moves out of the way. Inside the ring Dawn Marie jumps on Sandman's back and Francine comes in to help. A catfight ensues and crowd erupts. Sandman pretends to cane Dawn Marie but instead lays a kiss to her. Raven and Sandman come from both corners to try and cane Credible. However, Credible moves out of the way and Raven ends up hitting Sandman instead. Credible gets Sandman into a Tombstone Piledriver to get the pinfall victory. Raven turns his back on Sandman and exits the ring.
