Who said journalists were impartial?

ZDNet recently published an article quoting Opera CEO Jon S. von Tetzchner about why Opera is trailing behind in browser statistics. This story has since been re-reported in various national and international media, each taking their turns on how to refer to this partial quote reported by another news service.

None of them seem to have actually asked in what context this was mentioned, and some of them seem to be quite intent on making Opera look like the bad guys. Our own Haavard has a nice writeup on this kind of "flamebait journalism", as he calls it. Also, The Register, one of the few IT media sources that actually seem to think before they write, do their take on the story.
