Softwolves' WebGames

Welcome to Peter Krefting's webgame page! This page lists the webgames that I have created. They were written in the old days before JavaScript and modern browsers, so all calculations are done on the server side.

Iceberg

Your hull is badly damaged, and you have no weapons to speak of. As you limp slowly through treacherous iceberg-strewn waters, trying to reach your home harbour, you become aware that an enemy ship is tailing you. Strangely it can detect you but not the icebergs, so your best chance is to lure it into hitting one.

Play iceberg!

The game got a small facelift in 2024, see below.

Space Mines

You are the newly elected leader of a mining colony on the planet Astron. All decisions concerning the sale of ore to Intergalatic Traders, food purchase and sale and purchase of mines are made by you.

Play Space Mining Colony!

This game is completely text based. I once had a note here saying that the game was in beta, and that I was planning on improving it, and estimated that it would be done by 2010. I later pushed that to 2020. In 2024 I found an online version of the English edition of the book that the game is based on, and after not having looked at the source code for over 23 years it has now received a small facelift, and among other things, the game is now playable on a mobile phone without you going mad. And it still works perfectly fine in Lynx.

Tic-Tac-Toe

Play Tic-Tac-Toe!
