Happy 30th birthday, Tandberg Data

My current employer, Tandberg Data turns 30 years on Sunday the 22nd. It started from the remnants of the old Tandberg Radio Factory’s line of computer terminals.
Since the development of the terminals was more or less finished at the time of the bankrupcy, Tandberg Data could start out with a product ready for manufacturing and virtually no debt. It had its hey days in the 1980s, until the rising PC market put a stop to the display business. But then it had already started manufacturing tape drives, which was the new business model.
Today, Tandberg Data produces and sells, among other things, tape drives, tape automation products and RDX removable hard disks.
Happy birthday, Tandberg Data!
