2. SmackDown/ECW Elimination Chamber Match:
   Undertaker def. Batista, The Great Khali [w/Ranjin Singh], Finlay, Montel Vontavious Porter, Big Daddy V [w/Matt Striker]
   Batista and Undertaker starts out. Big Daddy V entered as number three, but was pinned by Batista. Khali entered fourth and submitted to Undertaker's Hell's Gates. Finlay entered fifth and MVP sixth. Finlay pinned MVP after being chokeslammed by Undertaker, only for Finaly to himself be pinned by Undertaker after another chokeslam. Undertaker eventually pinned Batista after a tombstone. Undertaker earned a shot at the world heavyweight championship at WrestleMania XXIV.
3. Carreer threatening match:

   Jericho and Michaels started out with Umaga and JBL entering as number three and four. Jericho pinned JBL after the codebreaker. Triple H entered as number five. Umaga was eliminated next after being pinned by Jericho, who was then eliminated by Hardy. Triple H eliminated Michaels after a pedigree, and then Hardy after another pedigree onto a steel chair. Triple H earned a shot at the WWE championship at WrestleMania XXIV.

   JBL tried to perform a second Clothesline from Hell, but Cena countered with an FU, after which he pinned JBL.

   Morrison pinned Punk after a Moonlight Drive.

   Michaels countered Jericho's Walls of Jericho submission move, winning by pinfall.

   Ted DiBiase & Cody Rhodes (ch) def. Hardcore Holly (ch)
   The match was between Holly & Rhodes as champions, against DiBiase and his mystery partner. The mystery partner turned out to be Rhodes. DiBiase pinned Holly after performing the Million Dollar Dream to become champion together with Rhodes.
5. Intercontinental championship:
   Kofi Kingston def. Chris Jericho [w/Lance Cade] (ch)
   Jericho had Kingston in the Walls of Jericho submission move when Shawn Michaels came in and kicked Jericho with the Sweet Chin Music. Kingston then pinned Jericho after his Trouble in Paradise.
6. Women's championship:
   Mickie James (ch) def. Katie Lea Burchill [w/Paul Burchill]
   Pinfall after the Mickie DT.
7. World heavyweight championship:
   Edge (ch) def. Batista
   Batista was about to pin Edge when Vickie Guerrero, who had come to the ring, removed the referee from the ring. Chavo Guerrero came in as a new referee, counting a pinfall for Edge after Edge had hit Batista in the face with the title belt.

   Triple H pinned Cena after hitting Cena with his Pedigree move a second time.

6. World heavyweight championship:

   Kane interfered with the match, attacking both Batista and Punk, causing a double disqualification.
7. New York City parking lot brawl:
   John "Bradshaw" Layfield def. John Cena
   JBL countered Cena's FU by pushing Cena into a window, for the victory.
8. WWE championship:
   Triple H (ch) def. Edge [w/Vickie Guerrero]
   Edge accidentally speared Guerrero, allowing Triple H to get a pinfall after a pedigree.
