Sony Ericsson unveils the Xperia X1

Published: 2008-10-07 11:10:46

Sony Ericsson today unveiled the Xperia X1 smartphone in a press-show in Stockholm, Sweden. I have to say, it does look like an interesting phone, but I think they can learn a few things from the Apple crowd when it comes to how to make the audience interested…

The bad thing about the X1 is that it is using Windows Mobile instead of Symbian, but considering how Sony Ericsson butchered the wonderful UIQ interface from version 2 to version 3, perhaps it isn’t all that bad. One good thing that they at least had the decency to chose Opera Mobile as the default browser instead of Mobile IE.
