The new version from the gettext CVS fixes the following problems:

    . Works with Emacs from CVS
    . Works with XEmacs (hopefully)

Make sure ot load po-compat.el first if you are using Emacs < 21.3 or
XEmacs (any version).

Please, report problems.

Known problems:

    . Editing plural entries is flaky
    . Statistics output differs from msgfmt --statistics
    . Does not preserve PO files normalized; if you are interested in
      normalized PO files, pipe them through msgcat as a temporary work
      around.
