You mean that this computer could act as an hidden spammer or something like
that? I don't think so. One of the reasons I use ABP.nl is that it is the
email address of my employer. And ABP has a huge network with about 4000 PCs
and the according firewalls and other protection. OK, nothing is 100%
virusproof but the chances that "my" computer secretly starts sending spam
etc. are very very small IMHO.
Another thing: I wrote "my" not because ABP owns the computer but I often
work from different locations. So one day a message/reply is composed on
computer X, the other day on computer Y.

In my case I'm not able to corrupt my own email address like
NOSPAMruudDOTbaltissen.... . That's why in CSC and other NGs you can read my
original email address. I discussed this with my network collegae but they
said that that was company policy (although they understood).
