I have put a C64DTV in a 1571 case but I never use it. ( 
http://users.on.net/~clockmeister/other/C64-DTV/  omg that looks shoddy 
looking at it now :) The C64DTV just isn't all that compatible, and the 
SID emulation is pretty bad too.
For a project it was fun, but to hand over about $1000AUD for that DTV 
based laptop, well no, I could never justify it when running an emulator 
on any laptop does a more then decent job.

Have to admire the work involved though, certainly requires passion and 
patience and certainly looks the goods.
