I'll never take the risk to buy one, It may be broken and I don’t have the parts nor the skills to repair a floppy disk

But if someone has the parts and skill (and a dire need [due to the price] it might be interesting....)

Pricey it is.. I'd be glad to get one but not at that price. And - as you indirectly noted - even if much better in terms of speed when compared to the 1541, it was expensive, incompatible with VC/64/128 and not easy to buy. As a result virtually nobody used them. Neither users nor programmers. This lead to the situation you described above..
