So it is! There's even an improved version of the editor in there, and
a modified version of the assembler, which produces binary files
directly so you don't need to go through the extra step of using the
loader. Nice!

Seems like the manual for Commodore's C64 assembler
(http://www.bombjack.org/commodore/commodore/C64_Macro_Assembler_Development_System_Supplement_(C64101).pdf)
is mostly applicable for the PET version of the assmbler and editor,
too.

I don't own a PET, but I still like to program directly in the native
environment even though it's only in an emulator. The brief moments I
have the time to pursue this hobby, that is.
