What was the issue that prevented re-using that code? I have to correct in that iec is only supported on xs1541. IEEE488 is supported on two platforms, petSD and xs1541. But the wiggling of the pins is already separated out also for iec. And that makes it clear that XD2031 started as IEEE488 solution, the iec bus was added later. Also my main goal was to use the PC as disk, not an sd card. That was added only later. For the iec code we looked at Ingo's code, and even reused parts of it. But 1) last time I looked there were many calls into IIRC led, sd card and other subsystems in the iec loop, which made it hard to reuse. Now our iec code is iec only, all other stuff is separated out and shared between iec and IEEE488. 2) it was under gpl2 only, while our code is gpl2 or later. You can actually see the remnants of Ingo's code in those files of XD2031 that are still gpl2 only. André Message was sent through the cbm-hackers mailing listReceived on 2013-06-11 06:00:07
