Twelve, eleven point sixty-two and seven
Published: Thursday 2012-03-29.
Those are the version numbers of the browsers Opera released recently: Opera 11.62 for normal computers, Opera Mobile 12.0.1 for smart phones (Android, S60) and Opera Mini 7 for Android and the Jesus phone. It is starting to get a bit confusing with all the different versions for different devices, but the hight number the better, right?
Mini seven and Mobile twelve at least lets me synchronise all my speed dials with the computer version, so now I no longer need to have the mobile specific pages as the nine first. And mini seven on Android does feel faster than the previous version, even if I haven’t performed any scientific measurements.
Now I am eagerly awaiting version twelve of the computer version as well.
