Reflections from a Swede in Norway.

Here you will find my small graffiti board where I write about things I come to think about.

In my blog, I write about the general unfairness of life, about spam mail, vintage computers, board games, Norwegians, current and not-so-current affairs, technology and whatever else occurs to me — in other words, a glorious mess. All opinion expressed here are of course my own, and all similarities with any living people is of course intentional.

Train accident in Skotterud

Published: Saturday 2010-10-02.

The train to Stockholm de-railed outside Skotterud yesterday evening (article in Norwegian only; Google news has links to English-language articles). What is a bit scary when looking at the pictures is that everything is so familiar. This is a train that I do not know how many times I have taken since I moved to Oslo almost eleven years ago, especially the one on Friday afternoon. There is not much difference from one of the times I have been on-board.
