Unified Messaging Systems - the evil fax imperium
Published: Wednesday 2009-11-18.
Dagens IT writes about the Norwegian company Unified Messaging Systems AS who are sending out large amount of fax spam to companies, not only in Norway, but also in Sweden and several other companies. The problem is larger than one might think, the fax at my previous job almost never had any paper left in it after spitting out advertisements all the time, and according to the article several companies have seen it necessary to disable their fax because of this company.
It is sad that companies like this are allowed to exist, and that there are advertisers who pay to use their services.
