Reflections from a Swede in Norway.

Here you will find my small graffiti board where I write about things I come to think about.

In my blog, I write about the general unfairness of life, about spam mail, vintage computers, board games, Norwegians, current and not-so-current affairs, technology and whatever else occurs to me — in other words, a glorious mess. All opinion expressed here are of course my own, and all similarities with any living people is of course intentional.

Who is the criminal?

Published: Tuesday 2008-12-09.

I was about to watch a DVD movie yesterday, so I put the disc into the player and pressed play. The first thing I got to see was a minute-long film about pirating, which was impossible to turn off or skip, followed by a “friendly” message from the Swedish Anti-piracy agency where they threaten to Ipred me if I so much think about copying the film.

That. I. Bought.

For money.

In a shop.

Sigh, don’t they understand that the only thing they achieve with this is to encourage people not to buy DVDs? I don’t like being called a criminal, when they do that, I’d rather download a movie on over the Internet and watch that instead, so that I don’t have to sit through their propaganda film.
