Quiet, empty and lonely

Thea is visiting her parents this week, and
is of course with her.
That means that I am alone at home, which feels very strange.
One gets used to there being life and sounds and children crying in the
house, and when there is not, it feels very quiet and empty.
Fortunately they will be back already tomorrow, and I have had something to
do in the evenings anyway, Wednesday saw a meeting in the
tenant-owner’s building society, and yesterday I was at the company
