Under a new name
Published: Thursday 2008-07-10.
Since I have married and like the idea of families where everyone has the same surname, I am currently in the process of changing mine so that I will have the same surname as my wife Thea. Say good-bye to Peter Karlsson, and say hello to Peter Krefting. I will update the web site in several steps, but now the blog should show my new name.
By the way, I think it is discriminatory that there is no masculine version of “maiden name”. Sure, there is the gender-neutral “birth name”, but that sounds so politically correct, plus that I have adjusted my name once before I married, by taking an additional first name.
