Now with automatic translation

Now that Google has added support for Swedish and Norwegian in their automatic on-line translation service, I have updated the blog software to provide links to the automatic translations if there is no proper translation of the particular blog entry. For now it is only between the three languages that I do publish this blog, but I might consider adding support for more languages later. I have on purpose only published this entry in English; if you are reading the blog in another language, just click the “automatic translation” link at the top of the entry (it should pick up your language properly as long as you have configured your browser properly).
The machine translation is not as good as a proper manual translation, but it is often better than nothing. Next to figure out how to convince Google that “svensk” (Swedish) does not translate to “American”, and that “Kongsvinger” (a city in Norway) does not translate to “Colorado” (a state in the United States of America)…
