After a weak start of the winter the ski premiere for this season has finally been performed. After last night’s abundant snow fall, this morning saw wonderful winter weather and snow conditions, so right after breakfast we went out into the tracks, and since we for the weekend were located in the Hønefoss area, we went up to Ringkollen. We managed to time a ski competition that took place in the morning, which meant that the available tracks were somewhat limited, but we at least managed to make a few rounds (and falls).
Apparently it is possible to ski all the way from there, over the Nordmarka open-air area, and arrive in northern Oslo, at Frognerseteren or Kjelsås. We didn’t try that, if I am to do that, I almost think that I would like to bring along camping equipment…
