And thus the Christmas is over, and we have arrived back home again after having spent the Christmas with my big brother and his family in Nynäshamn just outside Stockholm, where we have celebrated a Swedish-Norwegian-Danish-Finnish hybrid Christmas. With seven grownups and three kids, of which one is three and a half years, it has been full speed during Christmas and it is almost calming to get back to work again. But not quite, we have had a really nice Christmas, and it is nice that there are just two working days now between Christmas and Newyears.
This year’s most unexpected and surprising Christmas gift came as usual from my fiancé, I got a beginners’ course in Japanese. I have long said that Japanese is a language that I would like to learn, if only to try to understand that weird country, but i have never really dared to get going and actually make an attempt. But now I will do it, and it is going to be really exciting.
Finally congratulations on the first anniversary of your wedding, Aud-Ingrid and Benjamin, and a belated congratulations to Alette and Jørgen whose daughter was born on Christmas Eve.
