After having spent all of Saturday travelling, I woke up in Boulder, Colorado this morning. I am here to take a training course in SAS at Tandberg Data’s USA offices (formerly Exabyte).
I have been a bit negative about the concept of being treated like a criminal at immigration, with fingerprinting and photographing, but it went quite smoothly, smooth enough that we had to wait an hour to get our baggage afterwards. Other than that it doesn’t feel very different, it is a morning in December, the snow is falling and the temperature is a few degrees below freezing, I have bought a bigpack Coca Cola and the room TV has about seventy channels, without there being anything worth watching.
