Reflections from a Swede in Norway.

Here you will find my small graffiti board where I write about things I come to think about.

In my blog, I write about the general unfairness of life, about spam mail, vintage computers, board games, Norwegians, current and not-so-current affairs, technology and whatever else occurs to me — in other words, a glorious mess. All opinion expressed here are of course my own, and all similarities with any living people is of course intentional.

Red turns blue

Today is my last day at Opera Software, after seven and three-quarter years I felt it was time to find new challenges. I have liked it very much at Opera, but sometimes one needs to move on to get new impressions and new inspiration. Next up is programming the firmware for backup robots at Tandberg Data, still here in Oslo.

Lycka till!

Först läste jag "fasteprogram", vilket torde innebära att roboten automagiskt går igenom backuperna och rensar bort gammalt skräp...

Good luck, from the states, with your new job. We average a new job every two years now! I know. Who is this random yankee. This is completely off the wall, BUT worth a shot. I found a hat with the S.A.T.S logo on it in a local second hand shop in Fort Collins, Colorado. I did a google search by image and ended up here. I don't know why I'm so curious, but do you have any insight as to what this logo is all about? I am far more curious now that I'm international! Any ideas?

Lesley: Thank you! If it's the same as I posted in my blog (the triangular one), it comes from the SATS chain of gyms. Originally a Norwegian company, they now have gyms throughout the Nordic countries.
