In my blog, I write about the general unfairness of life, about spam mail, vintage computers, board games, Norwegians, current and not-so-current affairs, technology and whatever else occurs to me — in other words, a glorious mess. All opinion expressed here are of course my own, and all similarities with any living people is of course intentional.

Kiss me and I’ll become a frog

The big news yesterday here in Norway was that the Norwegian princess Märtha Louise claims to have supernatural powers and contact with angels, and is starting a school for those that want to learn more about healing and similar. Sure, you are free to believe what you want, but it feels wrong to use the princess title advertising for this kind of activity, it feels like she is abusing the title to start a Norwegian Hogwarts.

What happens next? Will Madeleine start a driving school?

Räckte det inte att vara sagoboksförfattare? Å andra sidan känns det som att änglar och prinsessor ändå hör samman i någon idévärld, kanske främst hos små flickor på 3-8 år.

Apropå kungligheter, såg jag delar av Victoria Dyrings intervju med kronprinsessan Victoria Bernadotte. Speciellt kul tyckte jag det var på slutet, när Dyring frågade om kronprinsessan brukade rita prinsessor när hon var liten. Nej, det hade hon inget minne av, men däremot när hon gick på lekis hade kronprinsessan en gång blivit inbjuden till ett barnkalas med .. prinsesstema, vilket en då sexårig riktig prinsessa inte tyckte var speciellt kul. :-)
