After the success with the entrance we have now started with the preparations for painting the “office” (in reality the corridor between the entrance and the living-room, but I like calling it the office). We have thrown out the old desk I bought second-hand from a colleague five years ago and emptied the room of its contents, the plan is to replace the furniture with what we had delivered last week.
We have drawn up a hard, but realistic, schedule for this week’s work. We started yesterday with cleaning the walls so that we can putty over what needs to be fixed tonight. Hopefully we can keep to the schedule and have the actual painting done by this weekend, the question then is how long assembling the furniture we are moving there will take and how long it takes to get everything back in place.
