The spammers are always trying to think of new ways of spreading their message. The latest fad is to send the advertisement as an attached image. If you, like me, are using a text-based e-mail reader that can make it a bit harder to understand what the letter is supposed to be about. Unlike earlier entries this letter consists of actual words—not that it helps to make it intelligible…

När jag funderat på den typen av spam och hur man skulle behöva OCR-tolka bilder i e-post så blir jag än mer övertygad om att en riktigt artificiell intelligens kommer att uppträda i kriget mellan spammare och spamfilter.

Jag gillar det. Det låter som något chiffer eller nåt! Kanske inte den effekt som de eftersträvar, men ...
