I am under attack from a very insistent blog comment spammer who tries to add links to a number of on-line poker and casino pages as comments to two of my blog postings. It all started with a computer in Bulgaria requesting the two pages in question, with the page referrer set to a broken Google address, after which someone, every few minutes, has been trying to post poker and casino links from different IP addresses more than two hundred times since Friday night.

What he doesn’t seem to realize is that I have a very simple filter that ensures that his comment doesn’t “stick”. The only thing that happens is that I get a message saying that someone has been trying to spam me. Unfortunately I am unable to block him since he never uses the same open IP relay more than once, and (after the initial probe) uses a system that looks just like a regular web browser.

Oh well, it is just annoying for me, you readers don’t have to see any of it. Except for this posting, of course.
