Reflections from a Swede in Norway.

Here you will find my small graffiti board where I write about things I come to think about.

In my blog, I write about the general unfairness of life, about spam mail, vintage computers, board games, Norwegians, current and not-so-current affairs, technology and whatever else occurs to me — in other words, a glorious mess. All opinion expressed here are of course my own, and all similarities with any living people is of course intentional.

Preview of Opera 9.0

Published: Friday 2005-10-21.

Opera Mini wasn’t the only thing Opera Software released yesterday, we also released the first preview edition of Opera 9. Opera 9 has several exciting features that I have written a bit about in my other blog: site-specific preferences, which means that you can have different settings depending on what web site it is you are visiting; an integrated preferences editor, which means you don’t have to edit opera6.ini manually that often; and an option to log error messages to a file, which can be very useful when you are developing web pages.

Of course there are several other changes, the ones I have described above are the ones I’ve worked most with personally. For all the details, see the beta test page snapshot.opera.com. There you can also find information about current preview versions of Opera. See also Arve’s summary.
