I have now finally found a phone I want to upgrade my P800 to, and that Sony Ericsson’s recently announced P990. It is a later version in the same series of phones, with the functions I said that I wanted in my next phone, namely 3G and WLAN.. That it also has a keyboard, something that I have missed since the battery in my Psion Revo+ died, is no drawback.

Nokia has replied and announced a couple of phones in its new E series. They, however, unfortunately all seem to be based on the series 60 user interface and lack touch-screen, so I’m not very interested in them.

The only bad thing is that the P990i isn’t to be launched until March next year, so I will just have to survive until then...
