Reflections from a Swede in Norway.

Here you will find my small graffiti board where I write about things I come to think about.

In my blog, I write about the general unfairness of life, about spam mail, vintage computers, board games, Norwegians, current and not-so-current affairs, technology and whatever else occurs to me — in other words, a glorious mess. All opinion expressed here are of course my own, and all similarities with any living people is of course intentional.

MultiNet and Fonn are spamming again

Published: Tuesday 2005-07-05.

After the report on Insider on Swedish TV 3 last spring, in conjunction with the new legislation that prohibits spamming in Sweden, I thought that the notorious spamming company MultiNet and its many facades had given up. But unfortunately it seems that the happiness was not everlasting, they are now back under their HyrData name trying to convince me to book educational facilities in Stockholm(!) for computer training.

After a slow start in this year in which I only, so far, has seen one new Swedish spammer it seems that the old sinners are waking again. A couple of weeks I go I received spam from Uppsala-based FONN, who had turned quiet for a while after having been fined in Denmark. But now they seem to be back at it again.

Sigh. I wonder what it really takes to stop this kind of people? Chemical castration?
