Reflections from a Swede in Norway.

Here you will find my small graffiti board where I write about things I come to think about.

In my blog, I write about the general unfairness of life, about spam mail, vintage computers, board games, Norwegians, current and not-so-current affairs, technology and whatever else occurs to me — in other words, a glorious mess. All opinion expressed here are of course my own, and all similarities with any living people is of course intentional.

Summer collection

Published: Saturday 2005-06-11.

It was definitely about time, I have finally got myself to buy some new summer clothing, haven’t done much of that for the last couple of years I think (okay, maybe a little). Two pairs of shorts (take two, pay for one), four short-sleeved shirts of various kinds (take three, pay for two for three of them), one pair of summer trousers and a summer jacket. The only thing I was unable to find today was one (or more) pair of summer shoes, the ones I have have all developed extra holes where they’re not quite supposed to have holes, which is not very good (they certainly do increase the ventilation, but does not make them particularly pretty).

I managed to get away quite cheap with most of the stuff, it was mostly the jacket that cost a bit, it corresponded to 40% of the total purchase price. But that was mostly because the other stuff was fairly cheap, not that the jacket was very expensive.

Now the only thing missing is for the actual summer weather to appear, the thermometer did quickly go above twenty degrees for a short while on Thursday, but that was rather transitory.
