Influences

After having watched seasons two to six of
Stargate SG-1,
that I have
borrowed on dvd from a friend,
one after another since last autumn I have noticed that I have taken up
some expressions from the series.
Especially I have started answering
Indeed
when I agree with someone, just like
Teal’c
does in the series.
I’m not sure if that is good or bad, but apparently I’m not the
only one.
This weekend I visited
Ian’s
to play
1856,
and since he doesn’t speak Norwegian it became a whole with
conversations in English and much too many
Indeed
s.
When I commented that I seemed to have taken up a bad habit, Ian,
who also is a Stargate fan, pointed out that he probably has as well.
I’m still not sue if that is good or bad, though.
But I don’t really care, because now I have borrowed season seven,
and it seems so far to be at least as good as the previous six...
In case you are wondering, I lost at 1856, but it was very even. 1856 with three player is a very different game to with four or five players that I have played earlier, with three players it seems as if there is much too money going around for it to be as cut-throat as it is supposed to be.
