Reflections from a Swede in Norway.

Here you will find my small graffiti board where I write about things I come to think about.

In my blog, I write about the general unfairness of life, about spam mail, vintage computers, board games, Norwegians, current and not-so-current affairs, technology and whatever else occurs to me — in other words, a glorious mess. All opinion expressed here are of course my own, and all similarities with any living people is of course intentional.

Two thousand

Published: Saturday 2005-02-05.

I just noticed that according to the statistics page for the Swedish translation of the Debian web site I have now translated two thousand pages. The first Swedish translation was performed on 22nd April 1999 (the first version recorded at the Internet Archive is from October that year), which means that I on average have translated about 1.14 pages per day since then (even though that is not the complete truth since I have had sporadic help, meaning that the number is probably somewhere around 1.13). Plus of course that I have kept the pages up to date, only the Swedish translation of the front page has been updated 45 times since 1999.

Add to that that it is me and the Danish translator that are trying to keep the Norwegian translation not fall too far behind, because there is no longer any Norwegian people working on the web site. I guess the Norwegian translators are too busy working on Skolelinux.
