As I have mentioned earlier I receive a lot of junk mail, of which a lot is completely unreadable due it assuming that I am running a graphical e-mail application, interpreting HTML code and showing text in different sizes, fonts and colours, downloading images from external servers and other stupidities (that is, Outlook or Outlook Express). I use the text based e-mail software Pine, which I have set to show the text version of the letters I receive, if there is such a version, plus that I have various filters to remove HTML from the letters.
The letters that my script fail to remove the HTML part of is redirected to a special e-mail folder that I check a few times per week. On my latest check I found this letter:
I think my e-mail software is working just fine, considering it elected not to display the junk...

Umm.. jag kan inte minnas att jag sett någon skräppostare som har äkta eller falsk PGP-signatur i sina brev. Är det månne ett sätt att försöka uppvärdera meddelandet så det inte lika lätt klassas som skräp?
