No, it is not my flat I am talking about, but rather the streets of Oslo. This morning, road-cleaning vehicles rented from Denmark is passing by the street outside, cleaning up all the dirt that has accumulated during the winter.
Even though Norway is supposed to be one of the richest countries in the world, they obviously cannot afford keeping the city clean all year, the streets outside the city centre are only cleaned once a year. That is something you notice when you compare it to other cities of comparable size in Scandinavia; the fact that Oslo is so incredibly dirty.
Not one of Oslo’s best properties.
