TV 2 sucks
Published: Monday 2004-04-19.
Norwegian TV 2 has performed a “TV 3” and let us know that they are not going to show more than the first two seasons of Star Trek Voyager. They are a bit annoying in that manner (not as annoying as TV 3, but getting closer), they only showed the first season (or if it was the first two seasons) of Star Trek The Next Generation earlier (just like their Swedish sister-channel TV 4 did) and it took Norwegian tv viewers quite some lobbying to get them to run the entire Babylon 5. Fortunately SVT has already run the entire series, but it is still annoying.
They didn’t have any motivation for why they will not run more seasons, maybe it is because they have bad rating, but that is definitely self-inflicted since they often have chosen to show sports instead, or have switched air times without notice.

TV 2 only holds rights to two seasons of Star Trek Voyager. We will thus not show season 3.
Instead we now show reruns of season 1.
We thank you for the mail and note the wish for more seasons of Voyager.
Regards,
TV 2 AS
