I went to Sweden to visit my parents over the weekend since it was my birthday on Saturday. Twenty-seven. I think I am starting to grow old. Oh well. I guess I have to say like others do, it is at least better than the alternative. Nah, it’s not really that bad.

There has been a lot of talk about king Harald V’s bladder lately. To be honest, I think there are more important things to report about than details about they king’s bodily functions. But, coming to think about it, considering what they tend to write about otherwise, maybe it is nice to read about real people for once.

By the way, I bought a chocolate advent calendar a couple of weeks ago — I simply couldn’t resist the temptation of them, having been placed seductively in front of the cash register in the convenience store. Behind the first window I found a piece of chocolate shaped like a candle. Yummy. I could only stand five minutes of the SVT advent calendar this morning, which is too bad after last year’s success. On the other hand I am looking forward to watching TVNorge’s reality series parody “Nissene på låven” that I missed when it was shown the first time.
