Reflections from a Swede in Norway.

Here you will find my small graffiti board where I write about things I come to think about.

In my blog, I write about the general unfairness of life, about spam mail, vintage computers, board games, Norwegians, current and not-so-current affairs, technology and whatever else occurs to me — in other words, a glorious mess. All opinion expressed here are of course my own, and all similarities with any living people is of course intentional.

Fast reflexes

Published: Wednesday 2003-10-22.

Never got around to write anything yesterday, I was so tired that when I took a nap after dinner I didn’t wake up until nine, and at that time I didn’t feel like sitting in front of the computer anymore. (No, I know, that’s not at all like me.)

Wednesdays, the company I work for books a gymnasium, and tonight we played floorball. Of all sports, I think floorball is the one I suck the least at, but even though I noticed that the common denominator for all losses this evening was that I was playing on the team. I guess my reflexes just aren’t fast enough. Oh well, I can’t be best at everything I do, and it’s at least nice to do something other than sitting in front of the computer all day sometimes ☺

Okay, this joke gets lost in the translation (in Swedish, the word for “reflexes” and “reflectors” are the same), but speaking of reflexes, today I found two reflectors in my letterbox. Thanks Rolle! However, I have still not given up hope on finding some here in Oslo, I have received some tips that I plan to follow up on. These places can be added to the list of places I have tried so far: the local shop, toy shop, book shop and a “everything” shop (whose owner was very sorry about not having any in stock).

And congratulations go to Elsa and Rolle for their new daughter!
