Quick hack

They say programming is like sex — one mistake and you have to support it for life. At work, we have a “film club”, where we gather about once a month and watch a dvd film using a projector and such. Since chaos often ensues when we try to select what film to watch, I hacked together a small voting script using Perl and put it up on our intranet.
Maybe I shouldn’t have done that, because now some people want to use it for other polls, and requests for new features are trickling in. Oh, well.
