That is the number of episodes of The Big Bang Theory that Thea and I have watched this year. That is, all of the ones produced so far. So now we have caught up and have to wait for the autumn and the start of season seven. I hope September arrives soon. Please?

The worst kind of spam mail is the one that insists that you have actually subscribed to it – you have receieved this mail since you are a member at Rabatt-torget as it is stated in a couple of letters that arrived over the past few days. The question is just when I became a member. They seem to claim that this is the receipt of me ordering a subscription. They have just missed one small detail. My name is not John (my bolding below).

Abuse report through SpamCop as usual. I have not bothered with Konsumentverket’s registry as it never seem to happen anything with that anyway.

I promised to help reinstall an old laptop from 2006 that have started to get extremely slow (Windows has a way of getting so after a couple of years). The computer came with Windows XP, so I thought I should try reinstalling that system on it. The original CD that came with the computer has of course got lost, so I go to the manufacturer’s home page to try downloading drivers. Unexpectedly, there are no references whatsoever to the model number anywhere. It seems as they have completely disowned the computer. Time to start searching for drivers on my own, then. Always fun, that, one would have thought that they would at least have kept a page describing what the computer contains? But alas, there is not even that.

Perhaps I should just install Debian on the box instead? I wonder if its owner would see any difference? All she does it to click the red O to read a couple of web pages anyway…

Var annars kan man hinna med så mycket på en enda fin sommardag (Jenny insisterade på att sommaren inte började förrän i dag, trots ösregnet medan vi satt och åt frukost). Vi har hunnit cykla till en lagerutförsäljning på barnkläder, äta lunch hemma, köpa sandaler till Johanna, köpa ekologisk glass på bondens marknad, gå på gratis musikfest, leka på en stor lekplats i Sofienbergparken, gå från Grünerløkka ned till centrum, se fler konserter, passera en thailändsk festival och äta varsin vårrulle i solskenet och äta god middag hemma. Dessutom hann jag med en skön cykeltur i den varma sommarkvällen och se på en långfilm medan jag stod och strök kläder. Inte alls illa för en lördag.

Efter en helg med sommar, sol och strandliv (om än inte bad, tolv grader var lite för kallt, till och med för mig) så gör det egentligen inte så mycket att måndagsmorgonen bjuder på lite lätt regn. I alla fall inte när det är den första måndagen i månaden som bjuder på en full arbetsvecka.
